The Truth about Working From Home
The assumptioon seems to be that working at home means one can earn a living using the internet‘s many money making applications and strategies. These are offered up in great numbers and it seems that it is possible to just sit around at home and the money will come clicking in. That would be nice if it were true. I wonder. There are people who make money at home without any connection at all to the internet, other than email, research, social networking, web design, etc. Or, the internet is used as a resource for, rather than a source of income. I am all for learing a system of making money but I can’t believe most of the easy opportunities that seem to be available. There are actual ways people work at home and do earn a living. But usually it is in working at whatever their professio may be. Artist’s work at home and many show their art and use their homes as art galleries. They may do the physical work of making the art at home or they may just do the business part of the art at home. My husband was in the Public relations business and he did all of his work at home. This was mostly telephone and word processing work. He wrote news releases and sent them out to the print and other media. His clients paid for the service rendered and it wasn’t pay per click. He rarely had to actually physically meet clients, although he did occasionally. Web designers and creators may work at home where they can use the internet to set up their sites and upload material. It is possible to teach people to use their computers at home and run small personal classes at home. Many small business operate at home so the tradition of doing this is not new. The question is, are there ways to improve the earnings of these business and it is attention to marketing their products. For artists and photographers, there are web sites that print images into cards, shirt, and prints. These may or may not be money making opportunities, but most of the work is done at home where making the image is the number one activity. Marketing the business is most important in this endeavor. I work at home and have built my team via the internet. I'm with Jafra Cosmetics, Inc. There are alot of women out there that want to purchase these products as well as make extra money selling them. It's been quite successful for me.
